My relationship to yoga was slim. I had participated in a few introductory classes & had checked out a few DVDs from my local library. When I borrowed my sister's copy of Ultimate Stretch, I wasn't expecting to keep the DVD for longer than a couple weeks, but I ended up keeping it for longer than six months. My first week of practice was entirely beneficial. I felt significantly better in the way my body & mind moved. As I continued to practice, I felt further release & relief from tension/stress I'd been holding onto for a while. And I was also better able to manage the stess/tension that incurred during my daily doings. The poses in Ultimate Stretch are difficult & challenging. The great thing is that Ana & Ravi provide modifications for the more difficult poses so a person has the opportunity to build on those modifications. Plus, the meditation/song at the end of this DVD is an amazing gift for the work a person has done during the practice. The ending music always leaves me smiling. Now, I own my personal copy of Ultimate Stretch.
